Jesse Good, who has been living with his mother in Northside died very suddenly on Wednesday afternoon of last week. The body was taken to Whitesville (sic) on Thursday evening. Funeral services were held at the Baptist Church of Mace on Friday morning by Rev. John Brown. Mr. Good was born at Whitestown (sic) and was 33 years of age. When a boy he had a severe illness from which he never recovered. He leaves a father and several brothers and sisters. Alva Good lives on Milligan Brothers farm north of town. Mrs. Good and Alva Good desire to thank the neighbors and friends for their sympathy and assistance in their time of need. Mrs. Good will probably remain at Whitestown. - typed by kbz

Jesse Good, former resident of Boone county, died at Waveland last Thursday, after a severe illness due to acute stomach trouble. He was a native of this county, thirty-two years of age and a bachelor. His parents, three brothers and two sisters survive. He was a member of the Lutheran church at Whitestown, and his body taken to that place, where the funeral services were held on last Friday. The interment was at the Lutheran cemetery. – kbz
